Place that figure correctly inside an environment

You can invent a character and an environment that share scale, perspective, and space, so they read as physically together.

What it is

This capstone combines your figure drawing, perspective, and environment design skills. Place a character you designed into a setting you designed, and line up horizon, eye level, and vanishing points so its proportions and pose agree with the room, street, or landscape around it.

It also leans on your sense of scale and grounding: feet meet the floor plane, contact points and overlaps make sense, and the character's size, camera distance, and angle match the surrounding objects and architecture. The result is a figure that stands, sits, or moves inside the space, rather than floating above it or looking pasted on.
