Finish an illustration without depending on accidental brushwork or photo effects
Finish an illustration from imagination with controlled marks, structured lighting and color, and purposeful detail.
What it is
This capstone combines drawing, form, lighting, material, color, composition, and design in one finished illustration.
You place edges, texture, and detail to describe form, material, and focus. Random brush texture and photo overlays do not determine the result.
The finished piece shows a value structure, color and lighting scheme, and story moment built from imagination. Each area has a considered role through the final stage.
You can check it when
- ✓Show a finished illustration at full size and identify what each area contributes to form, material, story, or mood.
- ✓Review the final 10% to 20% of rendering. Record targeted changes to edges, accents, and corrections, and identify any random brushes or effects used without a defined purpose.
