Am I Industry-Ready?

Draw a convincing object from imagination

You can invent a solid, believable object without reference, proving your drawing, perspective, form, and design skills work together.

What it is

This capstone pulls together drawing, perspective, and form: you can build a 3D object from simple shapes, show its volume with correct overlaps and foreshortening, and keep that volume consistent as you draw.

It leans on structure and proportion: you can decide how big each part is, how they fit together, and how the object would function, instead of copying an existing design.

It checks your line control and simplification: you can describe the object clearly with confident, purposeful lines, leaving out noise while keeping the forms readable from a chosen angle.
